N32H49x Series MCU: Empowering Optical Communication, Energy Storage, and Industrial Control

NSING announces the official launch of the N32H49x series of high-performance MCUs. This series features the ARM Cortex-M4F core with a maximum frequency of 240MHz, supports the FPU and MPU, and comes equipped with 8KB of instruction cache and 1KB of data cache. It integrates rich peripherals and a high-reliability design, targeting multiple fields such as industrial control, energy storage management, optical communication, fire protection/power, and consumer electronics, providing chip solutions that combine powerful computing, high reliability, and high security.

The N32H49x series includes three sub-series: N32H492, N32H493, and N32H497, comprehensively meeting the differentiated needs of different application scenarios for performance, memory, and interfaces.

1. Powerful Performance, Effortlessly Handles Complex Applications

• High-Speed Core, Stable and Reliable: Max frequency 240MHz, operating at 1.1V standard core voltage. High performance is achieved without the need for voltage boosting, offering higher reliability and longer lifespan compared to solutions that rely on overclocking for equivalent frequencies.

• Computing Acceleration, Precise and Efficient: Built-in trigonometric function accelerator (Cordic) supporting floating-point operations, paired with Delta-Sigma digital demodulation and filtering (DSMU), providing a cost-effective solution for high-precision scenarios like servo motor control.

• Large-Capacity Storage, Security Upgrades: Integrates 1024KB dual-bank encrypted Flash with ECC and auto-correction, supports OTA updates without interruption, ensuring program stability and security. Provides up to 576KB SRAM (N32H497) and up to 256KB ECC SRAM, with automatic error correction in harsh environments, significantly enhancing anti-interference capability.


2. Rich Connectivity, Swift Response, Precise Control

• Multiple Interfaces, High Interconnectivity: Integrates 3x CAN-FD, 10x U(S)ART, 6x SPI, 4x I2C, high-speed USB Host/Device (with built-in PHY), and Ethernet interfaces, meeting multi-node communication and complex network requirements. Supports independent low-voltage I/O power domain (N32H493), enabling 1.8V I2C/SPI communication with 3.3V supply. Common communication interfaces (CAN-FD, UART, etc.) support free pin mapping, offering more flexible PCB design.

• High-Precision Analog, Real-Time Control: Equipped with 3x 12-bit high-speed ADCs (4.7Msps), 2x 12-bit DACs, and multiple advanced timers, suitable for real-time control and high-precision signal acquisition scenarios.


3. Hardware-Level Security, Inherently Reliable

• Encryption Engine, Comprehensive Protection: The entire series features a built-in hardware encryption engine supporting AES, DES/3DES, SM3, SM4, etc. Integrates a True Random Number Generator (TRNG) and Storage Memory Protection Unit (SMPU), effectively safeguarding code security and data integrity.

• High Security, Seamless Expansion: Supports automatic decryption and access to externally expanded memory via FEMC or XSPI interfaces, unifying storage security and system performance, making it simpler and safer to expand application capacity.

• Strong Anti-Interference, Stable Operation: Operates in a 1.8V~3.6V / -40°C~105°C environment, passing rigorous ESD 4A and EFT 4A tests, ensuring stable operation in harsh electrical environments.

Based on the differentiated needs of application scenarios for performance, memory, and interfaces, the N32H49x series provides highly targeted chip selection for different fields.

Note:​ The N32H493 supports an independent low-voltage I/O power domain. When powered at 3.3V, it supports 1.8V I2C/SPI communication.

 

5. Development Support

The N32H49x series is supported by a minimum system board and a full-featured development board. The product fully supports software development tools like Keil, IAR, and GCC, and provides the NS-LINK efficient mass production tool. Development kit software source code, hardware reference designs, application notes, and other technical documents are comprehensively provided. 6. Product Availability

The first batch of N32H49x series models is available, including N32H497 (2 packages / 7 models), N32H493 (1 package / 6 models), and N32H492 (2 packages / 12 models). Samples are expected to be available starting from March 2026, with mass production planned for April-May 2026.
